Welcome to Reno / Carson / Minden / Gardnerville
Beautiful desert communities with mountain views and exciting nightlife
Reno, Carson, Minden, and Gardnerville are desert communities in the northwest area of Nevada bordering California. From Reno, North Lake Tahoe is 35-miles away making it a great day or weekend escape. Reno is known as “The Biggest Little City” as it has a small-town feel and all the amenities and nightlife of any big city. It is a more laid-back and smaller version of Las Vegas that is appealing. In recent years, these communities have seen an influx of new residents as many technology companies have moved into the region, such as Tesla, Amazon, Panasonic, and Microsoft for more favorable tax advantages.
Reno, Carson, Minden, and Gardnerville lie east of the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains. Residing in a desert valley, most homes have spectacular mountain views that make this area a sought-after place to live. Residents can expect plenty of sunny days throughout the year with only a small amount of rain in the summer and some snow in the winter in this high-desert climate. Many of the luxury homes are in lovely master-planned communities. The large properties are often ranches with horses, trails, golf courses, and hot springs.
